Union College Didn’t Just Upgrade Their Locker Rooms.

They Changed the Athlete Experience.

Let’s be honest — locker rooms don’t win championships.
But they sure help build the culture that does.

When we first connected with Union College, it wasn’t about a big renovation plan. It was about a problem. Their football locker room, located under a hockey rink, was battling constant moisture. Metal lockers were rusting. Air quality was poor. The space just didn’t feel like it belonged to a modern, high-performance team.

They didn’t call us asking for flashy designs.
They wanted a real fix — one that wouldn’t cost them more in 3 years.

And that’s exactly where we started.

We Didn’t Push Product.

We Solved a Problem.

After walking through the space and understanding their challenges, we recommended phenolic material — a moisture-resistant option we’ve used in similar environments.

But here’s the thing: material alone doesn’t solve the problem.
We also consulted with their HVAC team, looked at airflow and layout, and helped rework the design so that the room didn’t just look better — it performed better.

That first project? It changed everything.

Trust Is Earned — Not Installed

Once the football room was complete, we got a call about basketball.

Then it was volleyball. Then men’s and women’s hockey.

Eventually, we were invited to be part of their brand-new hockey center build in 2025.

It wasn’t about chasing work — it was about showing up, listening, and doing what we said we’d do.

“Every time we worked with them, the trust deepened,” says Grace Parker, who led the project and just so happens to be a proud Union alum.

“They had ideas, and we helped shape them into something that would last — structurally, financially, and emotionally. These locker rooms needed to mean something.”

It’s More Than a Place to Change

The new rooms aren’t just filled with beautiful cherry wood and laser-cut logos.

They’re filled with intention.

Athletes have outlets to charge their devices, quiet corners to study, and design details that make the space feel like it’s theirs.

That’s not an accident. It’s how we design.

Every locker we build has one purpose:
To support the day-to-day life of the student-athlete — not just on game day, but every day.

This Is What Partnership Looks Like

Working with Union wasn’t a “project.” It was a partnership that grew over time.

No high-pressure sales. No fancy presentations.

Just conversations, solutions, and shared pride in the final result.

When a school trusts us with one team, and then comes back with four more… we know we’re doing it right.

If you’re planning a locker room update — or you’re just starting to think about what could be possible — start with a conversation. No pressure, no obligations.

Just real talk about real problems, and how we’ve helped schools like yours solve them.

Talk to Grace.

She’s not just on the sales side — she’s been in the rooms, on the calls, and in the build-outs. She knows what it takes to make your project successful — not just installed, but embraced.

You don’t need a catalog. You need a collaborator.

Let’s build something that works — and lasts.
